I got to play with puppies today. I can't get a dog of my own but while running errands today I happened upon a dog adoption event. I stopped for 15 min to play with some cuties and my heart felt light. That was great.

I mentioned here a few months ago that I'd lost a loved one to a sudden heart attack, followed a month later by a sudden breakup. My ex came over one day and said some very nasty things to me, took his stuff, walked out of my apartment and didn't looked back. It was a painful double whammy but I got through it.
