The one good thing they have done is help change/clarify the laws in most states, allowing for a 3-wheeled car to not be classified as a motorcycle requiring wearing a helmet. They have paved the way for other companies to actually succeed if they don’t themselves.

If he truly wants reconciliation, he should get rid of his “mistress”, no matter how much he thinks it’s junk.

My kid is pretty good. So far just food crumbs that vacuum up easy. There have been some food bits left behind that gelled to the carseat or the seat protector (we have one of those mats you put between the carseat and the actual car seats). Nothing major like bodily fluids out of various orifices. So the real thing

Meh... another $5 per tank for me. Not gonna break the bank even with my gas hogs.

“They were going too fast y’all. They couldn’t control it and we end up with this mess.”

I’ve always been told I was “going xx miles per hour in a xx miles per hour zone” when I’ve been pulled over for speeding. I’ve only ever heard “rate of speed” on the TV (news, sitcoms).

Holy mother of ouch. I hope he’s got the ability and support around him to overcome this and move forward and not let this keep him from any more life achievements.

ditto

true enough... though depending on your luck... it may just be 2 hours. Check WFAA.com or fox4news.com or nbcdfw.com or dfw.cbslocal.com for traffic reports and you can see all the wrecks that happen almost every day.

Yeah, I could have bought a crapcan when I got this car, but then I would have gone through about 10 crapcans by now because they would have all been totaled by the bumps this car has taken and it would have cost me a LOT more. And the crapcans can’t tow over 2000# on the regular or seat 6 people and their luggage. So

Sure.... if you want your car to have a good possibility of being wrecked within 2 years.

Also... why buy a smaller car when mine is PAID OFF and still works fine. New(er) stuff is way to spendy for my tight wallet.

yeah... but that time you actually need the space to haul something and you don’t have to bother anyone else to get it done... it’s well worth it to have the larger car. Like the time I put 300# of dirt via 50# bags in the trunk of my daily beater and it barely squatted 2 inches. And when I go over speed bumps and

I wish exo-cages would become a trend so I could get a prefabbed kit for my beater just for traffic. (Sometimes bumpercars seems to be the game of the day on the road.)

I found out it was a Transformer!

+1 BIG ol’ helpin of Nope

Fart cans on stock engines, fake vents not even lined up, fake scoops, just about anything from a parts store that installs with double sided tape (blind spot mirrors don’t count because useful), ANY non-stock badging that is for looks and not jokes. I can respect badges for jokes... like having every single badge

+1 screw HOAs. If there’s an HOA, I won’t buy the house.

It’s stuff like this that makes me want to drive an ACTUAL tank.

True. I’m sure there’s decent places. But having grown up in Texas, and found out what the rent is like out there... it stays on my “ah hell no” list.

Low speeds like that... meh... drive a tank.
My current tank is a 1988 Mercury Grand Marquis. It takes the little hits and shrugs off those tin foil econoboxes. Real bumpers for the win. My car is beat to hell and has been salvaged once due to cosmetic damage down the entire side of the car. Obviously this won’t work
