The new Shelby is not as close to production, I think. The ZL1 is much closer. Also the performance benefit of extra horsepower once you are at 550 to begin with is likely nominal. When Hennesey adds crazy horsepower to a car for crazy money it might shave a fraction of a second off of its 0-60.

I hate side stripes and decal identification on cars. Otherwise if she handles(with Ford being pretty badass as of late I suspect it will) it will be a somewhat crude $55 k supercar. Unbelievable.
