I’ve eaten commercially raised camel for many years, both burgers, steaks and roasts, very unique taste, and never found it unpleasant. I’ve a large camel tenderloin in my freezer now, we’re using of a post Christmas feast.

Most of the commercially available Camel in the US comes from suppliers in Australia. Very good meat and healthy too. There are camel farms in the US but they’re for milk production not for meat. 

We recently tried this new version, Spicy Ranch chex mix. Was very good.

People should really be debt-free in retirement.

Use healthy duck fat instead.

Chex Mix is a serious addiction issue for me too. To make matters worse, we use duck fat instead of butter. Any version you make is taken to a higher level when you use duck fat. We give this out as holiday gifts, in very large jars. Always a big hit.

ALL, and I mean ALL telemarketers should be put to death. That will stop it damn quick. We should not have to deal with bullshit EVER.

Agree with all those scenarios. I’m seeing more of the high quality places now being very conscious of how the making of a cocktail is part of the show. Instead of the usual places making the drink down below, out of site, the drinks are made in front of the customer, showcasing their skills and attention to detail.

Some twenty-odd years ago my son did his HS science project on a similar subject. He did a study comparing different compounds used in horse shoes and how they damaged blacktop road surfaces. We’ve many Amish in this area and it’s always a running debate on allowing their horses to use public roadways. 

Compared this with two local similar chocolate focused beers.
