Although I found the mother's actions in the first movie ridiculously annoying, overall, I enjoyed the movie and have been hoping for a new installment. My initial response to reading that it will be in 3D is "no thanks", but 3D might actually work really well for Silent Hill type scares.

@Pirandello: I may be what you might call a "seasonal" gamer (get into gaming for a few months out of the year the move on to other stuff), but I too can see myself gaming into old age.

I don't know this lady and don't know how she handles her life outside of her gaming goals, but I can honestly say that sometimes when I'm getting up and preparing to go to the same place to do the same things day after day, I have a fantasy that's not too far off from how she's been living her life.
