@Dominic5521: This isn't absurd. There's a lot of firearm "piracy" in the Philippines where basically amateur armorers make their own firearm knockoffs.

@Saboth: I've been to the Philippines and law enforcement is a tough gig in a poor country where some police officers sometimes don't get a gun at all and sometimes when they do, it's a very old revolver and they have just a few bullets. Corruption is also rampant throughout all levels of authority and there are a

@Melde: Reading the comments is a good point, but they must be taken with a grain of salt. Some apps that I check out have some very obvious red flags to me, yet the app has a lot of positive comments from users who are either oblivious or don't care about that app's malicious potential.

@wildeyedboy: Since I don't normal build up any kind of sweat with my PC-related job, I quit using anti-perspirants years ago and now use Crystal Body Deodorant, which lasts well all day. No more stained or cruddy armpit areas of my shirts, too.

@t3knomanser: Goldmember: [picking skin off his back] Oh yesh. Yesh yesh yesh yesh. This is a keeper.

I get extremely dry skin, so I've been trying out Dr. Bronner's natural soap both for washing my hands and in the shower. So far, it's working out alright, but the real test will be once the rocky mountain winter sets in.

This advice is a lot easier to follow when a) you're unemployed and/or b) you have little to no sex life

Never got around to playing this game, but I'd definitely check it out if it were available for android.

@Dr Durdon: wow...been years since I've heard about "you don't know jack." that was kind of a fun party game for a weekend or two.

The lack of preparedness is obvious here but when I lived in SD I usually found the local news refreshing because the news casters weren't all that uptight compared to other regions and would make jokes with sexual innuendo somewhat frequently.

@amandahugnkiss: I'm suing my wife for not feeling well enough to hand out trick or treating candy, thus forcing me to eat it on the childrenseseses behalf.

@Chip Overclock: So do you remember if that was Chateau D'Annecy or some place else? Sounds fascinating.

I want to see images from within the tunnel.

@SadAstronaut: Did you also load games off of cassettes to your TI-99? I remember doing that too, but can't remember which games we had for that. The screenshot of Alpiner posted above is the first time I've thought about or seen that game in many many years. I wouldn't say I'm fond of the TI-99 experience, but it

Is X3 or the older Freelancer a worthy successor for someone who enjoyed Wing Commander: Privateer? Is there something similar that's newer than any of those?

Whoa Alpiner for the TI-99 was one of the first PC games I played as well. We had a few games, one of which was Hunt the Wumpus or something similar. I can't remember the others. I also used the TI-99 for some programming basics. I was perpetually disappointed that the game graphics were nowhere near the game's

@Bloodoflamb: So far I'm liking it a lot. The graphics seem about 15 years old, but game play, music score, and overall atmosphere are really well done.

@Kovitlac: I ended up purchasing and downloading it from Steam

Amnesia: The Dark Descent and Dragon Age Origins. It sucks, I bought Amnesia ONE day before it went on sale! hmph.
