The Tesla sales process may not be as straightforward as you would hope. Story coming soon. :)

This. Why the hell anyone would use a uhaul trailer for anything worth more than $50k is beyond me...

I’m glad you included borrow in there. My first thought is that this is a car site and a simple post probably would have gotten them many offers of a trailer more suited to the task.

You arranged getting the car, getting access to the track and renting the RV but you guys can’t be bothered to borrow/rent a proper car trailer?

I’m losing respect for you guys.

The even better way to get a good deal on a Focus RS is to wait for the hype train to run out of steam, people to realize the AWD system is gimmicky, the engines and/or trannies to start having “issues”, and enough people to sit inside them and realize, “WTF, this interior makes me want to puke.”

The problem with the 370 isn’t that it is a bad car, it is that it is relatively uncompetetive with what most people are buying, which is muscle cars. just as a quick look, at 30,000$ base the z makes 332 hp and has a 5.1 0-60 time (according to car and driver) versus a $32,000 mustang GT that makes 435 horsepower

No IDx, no care. If it had been built, and actually affordable! compared to entry level front-drive appliances (i’m looking at YOU, Toyota 86), it would’ve been a home run of proportions that RenaultNissan hasn’t the slight idea of, “projections” be damned. I would’ve bought one for sure.

“It reads the article again or else it gets the hose again ...”

Great idea! I can’t imagine what would be better for a consumer then no competition!

If you’re going 140+mph you don’t stop. That’s how I haven’t been caught.

As someone who can barely afford to get by because of my wife’s student loans (currently paying about $1200 a month, but banks are trying to push it up to almost $2k) in the Seattle metro area, I say fuck that noise. Its already a pain in the ass to commute (I take the bus to work, but my wife has to drive about 30

Purely recreational? Did you forget there is a large trucking industry that uses fuel to bring goods across the country, and if costs go up for them, the cost of many other things will go up too? They aren’t electric yet.

I wouldn’t worry about seeing $5 gas anytime this decade. There are something like 3000+ new oil wells drilled in the US that aren’t currently pumping due to the low price. Soon as the price rises they’ll go online and counter whatever cuts OPEC attempts.

If oil prices start climbing up, all those unemployed workers in North Dakota and Texas will be back at work at the shale wells, and prices will tumble down again soon enough.

This is the second article about this I’ve read in 5 minutes that has used the language “may share them with law enforcement” which is disingenuous and should rather read something like “and would be obligated to provide to law enforcement when given a warrant.”

Cooling.
