That and most modern CVTs are not terrible. The tuning might leave something to be desired since economy is the driving force but that is an opportunity to tune/flash the ECU. CVTs can be sporty and a riot to drive when tuned correctly

When was the last time an aircraft seat actually reclined more than single digit degrees? Honest, when? I have never flown in my life on an aircraft that actually reclined in such a way that I could see this ever actually being an issue. To me this recline/no recline issue feels completely made up

Talking, yes actually talking, with people is the answer. I seriously doubt that most people’s knees will be physically in contact with a seat that is reclined on an aircraft anymore than if it was not reclined. However, in that extremely rare case I would conseed and not recline if asked or your case too for work.…
