If the bars in the passenger area where the same diameter as the rear, had an anti-intrusing bar to protect from side impact (shoulder to footwell) and noded, like the rear, this could be safe...ish. Assuming they used the right wall…

Maybe but none of these vehicles were exactly new by that point each was at least 10year old and I was at least the second owner. Loved perfectly from day 1 maybe it will go 300K but I still have my doubts
