The fee for a ticket is quiet high now. I got a ticket last month for 83 in an 75. The fine was $250. My first ticket ever in Texas and first ticket in 16 years. For that lofty fee the judge was nice enough to say no points if I am not stopped in Texas for the next 90 days.

Looking only at the immediate monetary value of a situation like this is incredibly short sighted.

Never. Never have gotten out of a ticket. Reason... Texas cops and Tribal cops. They give no shits and love to ticket. Being polite only gets you out of being arrested by these cops. There is no out.
