That is exactly what I meant by “the front half.” You understand but the number of “it’s RWD” comments have me believing many others do not

Yes, it is RWD but it is still using the stock Subaru drivetrain. Well, the front half of it anyway since this is a mid mounted motor.

It is a boring bike but it tries to make up for it with all of its crap HD traits. Box of rocks for a transmission, noisy valves and thirst for oil.

Since I am currently living on 66 I can tell you why. It is now I40 and what is not is not maintained at all. At least it is that way threw NM anyway

Only two kinds of riders... those who have fallen and those who will fall

Not a bad bike but a bit of a black sheep. Slower than dirt and not capable of highway speeds at this altitude. We have 3 HD dealers in town and every single one of them refuse to touch this bike. The prices are insanely high for what this is. But it is a good learner because you do not have to care what happens to

Wow, you have convinced me I need to find and read this Thor storyarc

Not bad at all actually. It will push if you get too crazy but the Super really does handle well. I can dive through mountain roads with the greatest of ease. As long as I am going down hill I can go through the mountains as well or better than some modern cars. If I put some time and effort into the suspension it

Calling it a “Death Wobble” is being overly sensational. I’ve had two 79’s with a small shimmy around 60. Any slower or faster and the shimmy is gone. The trick that came from the smart people at the Samba is exactly the same as what Break-Mend-Continue said. It is well known how to take care of this problem. Replace

I would like to see something for newer cars too. Something like $200, run any cat like a reasonable person and can pass the sniffer why should it matter how modified the car is.

Exactly what the automotive world didn’t need... any more anything related to Nascar

Tell William to look for a college with an FSAE Program (Formula Society of Automotive Engineers.) I would suggest also looking in the University of New Mexico (UNM) for FSAE as well. We have a great program that gives class credit for the FSAE project. I’m told this is rather rare and so is that fact our program is

Height might be an issue but I’m 5’9’’ 210lbs and still have my football build. I fit in this car just fine. I enjoy the hell out of it.

Here is my argument as to why people are wrong about the FRS/BRZ sales failing and the inevitable death of the car... Miata. Yes, the answer to everything here. Miata

Except that your claim that there is no business case would mean no Miata as well. Take a look at the sale figures for both the Miata and the BRZ alone. Very similar numbers. Even when you look at the years before the new model was announced. If you include the FRS the BRZ/FRS twins kill the Miata in sales. Should

I need to go there now... NOW

I would say that the best one (that I personally saw at least) is dead. In New Mexico we once had a yard full of old air cooled VW Buses, beetles and even a good number of AC Porsches (911 and 914). There were newer VW and Porsches from the 80's and 90's in the yard as well. I remember more 924/944/968's than you

This is what the Beetle should be based on. Problem solved.
