I think one thing that people are often getting wrong is the simple idea this generation that difficulty = quality. For this, I would have to disagree. And not because I'm a sucky/nooby gamer; I've been around since the N64 era and I've beaten my fair share of hard games.

There are some games that I play that I feel the story and characters are too good for the game it's in. Like, where the story of the game is AMAZING, but the gameplay just kinda... jars you away from it. I don't think there needs to be a story-skip or a combat-skip button; I think there needs to be more of a balance

To be perfectly honest, I don't call everyone who wears glasses a hipster. It takes more than just glasses for me to throw that label around, and considering I'm from the West Coast; I know 'em when I see 'em. Ungh my highschool grad year was FULL of the wanna-be variety. Mostly in the females, though.

It's amazing how much a facial expression and tone of voice and change a comment from hateful to joking, isn't it.

Hipsters: Basic goal of the scene is to avoid mainstream styles and emphasize individuality and originality.

...I don't understand, does that guy have two thumbs, or what is going on there?! What's going on with his arms, period?! Apparently he has no chest, or lower torso either (evident from the lack of feet).

Entertainment in itself is useful for entertainment, and I didn't mean entertainment wise video games were a waste of money (if I thought that, then why would I be here?), but rather in the overall scheme of life you do not need video games. Yes they're fun and a really fun way to spend free time, but you don't need

And then everyone realizes that they're getting all angry over video games that are fundamentally a waste of money, and attacking a human being with feelings for it. The "Consumerist Sense of Entitlement" is a disgusting thing.

Okay, then let me explain further.

...so that means it isn't? That's like saying because the guy I just shot shot many people before I shot a person means I didn't shoot him. If you followed that at all.

Ummmm... I'm gonna go with "true". Yeah, the answer's "true". There, solved it.

This is true, but no way am I going to let my kids become one of those guys who think graphics make or break a game.

Got all three of 'em, mate!

I'm going to raise my kids in their early childhood on the N64. It'll show them to appreciate gameplay over graphics, it'll show them to appreciate the importance of character and charm in a game, and it'll show them that sometimes a game doesn't have to be "modern" or "realistic" to be fun.

I see you just won the Hyperbole MCCXXVI. Congratulations.

Total agreement with this.

tl;dr: Not sure if trolling, or incredibly stupid.

Currently considering turning my current Nerf sniper into a clip-loading paintball gun. Of course I would need to insulate the entire gun from the inner-workings so the plastic doesn't destroy itself; but I have a good place to put the CO2 tank that fits very well into the gun while still retaining the use of the

I can see the headlines now...
