Well, Blizzard bought out Swingin' Ape back in the day to make Starcraft: Ghost. As you know, Vivendi games owned Blizzard at the time, and when Activision merged with Vivendi to make Activision: Blizzard, the IP of Metal Arms got transferred as well.
