It's one of those things that sounds good in theory until it becomes reality.

@jayrock423: It's not, but I don't remember anything recent about the phone being broke in a bumper. Not saying it can't happen...but for me red flags went up due to it being a journalist using a loaner unit.

@Temporal: Yeah, that's my point.. I'm not sure moral and rational play into a legal decision (but I'm no legal expert). Look, I don't support prop8, but since I don't live in CA, I've only sort of followed the story with a passing interest. Don't gays in CA have all the same civil rights as straight people?

@John Radi: Yeah, notice it was a loaner unit. What better way to drum up some pub for yourself as a journalist/author/blogger, than to get some unique iPhone news?

@Aaron Crabtree: I agree. The sticking point I see with the appeal is as far as I know, gays in California have the same civil rights as heteros. From what I'm reading in all the news stories (I haven't read the actual decision), the judge is setting hizzelf up with a flimsy decision to be overturned.

Loaner unit? C'mon Rosa, don't be suckered by this...I'll bet you this was an intentional "drop."

@CaptainJack: I think Kyle should have said 'federal judge' in California. A state is free to pass whatever law it likes, however that doesn't mean it jives with the Constitution.

What they're not telling us is that the 3rd-worldization of this entire planet is going to lead to massive doctor shortages...so let's get a phone that'll detect cancer in-between an Angry Birds marathon.

@Seb640: Whatever, troll...let it go. Release the anger that's so obviously built up within you and your life will improve, I promise.

@meatbag_pussrocket: Yeah, I just tried that...it's not too bad actually. It's a novel design, and at the minimum it shows me Samsung is thinking outside of the box.

Awkward. An index finger on either side of the device? Am I seeing that right?

@Seb640: I really don't care how these apps fit into Apple's nebulus approval standards. I don't want to see apps that are derogatory to people simply because of what they look like or how they dress. If that's so wrong by your standards, then so be it.

@DirtyDogg: I read the article, and it gave me a headache. So it was approved before it was denied, only to be later approved...before it was denied. I could care less what their reasoning is, see my top post.

It's a derogatory app that only exists to belittle the people on it. Kudos to Apple.

@Diode: Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Except the M.S. part...only a B.S. here. I was hoping they'd trade relevant life experience for a post-graduate degree.

Wow...that's like saying the way to climb Mt. Everest is to start at the bottom and keep walking until you can't go any higher.

@pwheeler: Yeah man, if you got the money, there's nothing like the $500 dollar bottle service at LAX. Did I mention that I love Vegas?

Norm Abram is somewhere drooling over this right about now...

That shot of the living room looks like a Vegas nightclub.
