@vel0city: Here's the result of free and open development: inferior apps, fragmentation, and no money. Not a winning recipe.

If a mobile developer actually wants to make money, he creates apps for Apple devices. Android? Not so much. This is reality, and no amount of anti-Steve histrionics can change that.

@axiomatic: Why are they damn lucky? They made these really good gaming devices that oh by the way double as a phone, reader, web browser, etc - and created a set of rules for developers to play by. Devs that play by Apple's rules on Apple devices are making money. Everybody wins.

@pfernando27: Sometimes drifts are tricky to catch, give them due attention ;)

I guess 'used coffee filter' is the new black...

@Dizznizzle: Mythbusters says my toothbrush is covered in fecal matter, yet I'm in no rush to eat shit out of my toilet. Catch my drift?

@cc: Yeah, that sucks for Lance, but I didn't think he had a chance against Alberto and Andy. That being said, I'm a big fan of Levi, and I hope Lance does the right thing and gets behind him.

The Shack is now hooked up with my man Lance Armstrong. Hopefully some decent marketing combined with a refresh of the stores helps them out.

@pojken: My pockets have track lighting. Yours?

So there's what, probably something approaching 4 million iPhone4's sold into the market. Has this breakage issue been thaaaat big a deal? With all the hype surrounding the possibility of breakage due to the glass...I haven't seen any evidence (even on Giz) where it's a chronic issue with the phones already sold.

@wjbean: That segment was one of my favorites they've ever done...very eye opening. I think the 9mm penetrated down to something like 8ft of water, but the .50cal fragmented almost on impact.

@Rabbits: Well hell, how many more of those snappy little graphics do you have? Let's see them!

What a brilliant feature.

@Rabbits: I resent that. Learn the definition of trolling. In no way possible is my top post trolling. You may disagree with me and think me an idiot, and that's quite alright. Not a troll though.

@Kaiser-Machead v.2.1.1: McDonalds was serving coffee at the appropriate temp (190F ish), this lady can't chug hot coffee and expect not to get burned. There's a good wiki article on this.

@Benjamin Urquidez: Ok, and that proves what? Dude got paid million for drinking hot coffee at McDonalds.

@Benjamin Urquidez: Yeah, still not buying it. She said that 'thousands lost their health in the 9/11 cleanup.' Really, Carolyn?!?

I don't believe this. This is the kind of thing that gets drummed up in advance of a class-action lawsuit.

@ochee_: GREAT reference from the best TV show of all time - I hadn't seen this one before.

I thought Wall-E was set in outer space. Don't remember any oceans...
