My 2005 (7th gen) ex-l coupe. v6 6 speed. It was my first car bought from a dealer (traded in my 95 XJ for it). We have a love hate, this car and I. It has some minor problems (some rust, which in Ohio is normal, Bay Area... nope). Mostly surface, couple suspension components need to be replaced. A few creeks, I think

depending on what type of reliability you’re discussing, in our modern political system that politician has probably been elected and re-elected ten times over.

Thoughts on the dual sport as a potential starter bike/first decent bike (I’m aware starting should be on something unafraid to drop among many other things). Additionally, thoughts on the throttle. Specifically my girlfriend (experienced ride, I am new) is concerned if I look into one and get it that due to having no

Find enough money to buy your 96 stick XJ to replace my rust free 95 I traded in for my 05 v6 6speed accord... I used to be in Toledo a practical option... now I’m in the bay boooooooooooo... so much for project goals, more like dreams...

This person has my 100% backing. Plus they’re from ohio... i love you

An XJ, why? The 4.0 wont die. It has the capability, even stock, to cover most off roading obstacles. They are cozy, mine was, the parts dont require attentive maitenance (theres a meme about running the auto trans never dying, must be true). There is so much more, room for your stuff, room for yourself comfortably

I had an XJ this past winter. I took a 2hr trip one way from Bowling Green to Cleveland in the year’s biggest snow storm (Across I-80 in N Ohio) there were multiple large pileups. There was a long line of cars going about 20mph, if that. Next to that line, there is me and my girlfriend, cruising in the Old Man, going

I just moved to SJ, I didn’t see anything on the rate, mind if I ask how much it is here?

My apartment in San Jose doesn’t allow car modication/work done in the lot. That is until you notice the super is almost consistently doing work to his jeep, there is a hella clean 300zx turbo, a slammed s10, and while not in our complex, across the street there is a dude with a NSX with a wrecked Honda Pilot right

or that intern just got some serious job security/promotion/offer

because it is interesting, mildly fun, and dare I say it amusing? I am not even close to being able to afford any of these, hell I kinda ish am hardly cutting it on a 10 year old Honda Accord. Yet I enjoy reading these, if anything it is cool to see what is out there. AND it has shown to me how useful eBay can be for

I’m sorry but that freeze frame made me lose it... I’m sure that was an terrible/frightening experience but it looks funny in the shot...

you make me so mad that I got a 05 v6 6speed accord for near the same price (after interest/warranty) but still... frustrated...

I’m looking at that picture and all I’m thinking “damn that looks a lot like Santana Row...” turns out it is, my Dad lives less than a mile from there, and I’m about 10minutes away haha. No clue if you’re local but maybe I’ll see you this Saturday there.

Is it because that guy ratted you out for doing “donuts” after your mainies, so the cops took your ride?

I’m gonna go do some mainies, in the opposite of that car, a typical average 7th gen accord... someone got a bike that I can roll off the top of it with?

The crazy thing with this is it got about 35mpg. I was not the builder (I wish I was because a) it would have been my idea and b) it would have been done better).

It was insanely fun to drive, but effectively here is what happened to it. Typical day took it to work, noticed the voltage dipping but passed it off, I made it work. After work, no start. Jumped it, made it 1 mile down the road (about 30 minutes from my house) it died, had a cop push me to a parking spot on a side

I have actually been in two Pulsars before, but no sportbak (you can pick up the “cap” moderately cheap though). My brother had one as his first car. We utilized the hatch area to house a folding beer pong table. It was no speed demon for sure, but it was moderately decent.
