Idiots Divest Other Idiots from Own Money

Oh, in the abortion district!

I swear, I'm going to scream myself hoarse the next time I hear some fucking chode prattle on about states' rights to do the most nefarious shit (and let's be clear: these people are NEVER sticking up for states' rights when they don't involve totally fucking women, minorities or the poor).

I picked up 'Train Dreams' at a library sale recently and hesitated on starting it. It seems like I'll be reading it this weekend.

Just a thought — the "thing" that appeared in the glass box seemed to have a female body and an incongruous, misshapen head. Does anyone else think this being is somehow related to Ruth Davenport and her missing body?

Hannity not word good.

Maher…a comedian? Huh. I had just assumed he arrived on Earth as a fully-formed blowhard.

"ALBERT, THE COSSACKS ARE IN RUSSIA!"

Of course — if they used a significant portion of their own time for anything other than earning, they'd be kicked even further down the socioeconomic ladder.

"When Orb shows up, your faces will be melted off and used for fuel."

In the future, RompHims will be famous for 15 seconds.

They've had it good long enough

First Billy Eichner and now Amy Sedaris and Chris Gethard- TruTV, you're trying to seduce me.

I know that Radiohead are not signed to XL, but that they chose XL to distribute their record(s) speaks to the label's reach and resources. It's not some struggling operation- they had been growing for a long time prior to Adele.

That "small label" released The Prodigy, M.I.A. and Radiohead along with a bunch of other successful acts before they signed Adele, they're not exactly small.

Demetri Martin is still big- it's the screens that got small!

I am sometimes irritated that music critics dismiss musical vocabulary and theory outright as though it's not significant in the understanding and creation of music whatsoever, but then I remember that I'd probably be just as irritated if they started trying to use it, so…

"They were going to make me a co-president for this, and I wasn't even in their fuckin' news organization anymore."

1. Is it possible to die of shame?
2. Would you then have to register the feeling of shame to die of it?

Can't pick- the material from 1954-1974 is indispensable.
