Hard to say. I would imagine the announcers for the school would have _some_ access to the behind-the-scenes stuff (i.e. interviews with players/staff and watching practices from time-to-time.) He was apparently given full access to players, coaches, facilities, practices, film room, the like; since he was a former player, coach and a current announcer. They trusted him wayyyyyy too much - obvi.
