You can actually get The Wolf Among Us for $12 on GameFly if you use the coupon code APR20OFF. You need a Telltale account if you don't have one already as it's not a Steam key, but it's a few bucks cheaper so there's that!

Not only that but the 3DS version is probably much easier to develop than the Wii U version. I imagine that they'll design the Wii U version with community feedback from the 3DS version in mind. Very smart.
Pick the original up on Origin right now for free! They are literally giving it away to get more people on the platform. If you already have an EA/Origin account just head over and pick it up! I quite like the original but it's too scary for my innocent little mind, haha. You'd probably appreciate this thing a lot…
We've GOTTA get that SERUM THROUGH!
Sloshy checking in and I don't really even care about you. So much nostalgia <3
It is permanently added to your account. Enjoy! Here's a tip, btw: the game runs at 60FPS if you turn vsync off and it also will run in borderless windowed mode if you use a third-party program for that.
Get it on sale if you can. I really liked it and it's definitely up there with Colors and Generations but it feels a little loose around the edges. Some levels are inserted out of nowhere and there's a sense of familiarity with how the game works in the sense that the designers didn't communicate or require many of…
With the vibration in the touch pads, you actually might be better served by them for fighting games (like vibrating for every 1/8 you rotate your finger), never mind your average 360 controller or an actual arcade stick, both of which will work perfectly fine with any PC you plug them into. Honestly fighting games…
I should note for historical purposes that apparently FFXIV: A Realm Reborn gives you the choice for button prompts in the PC port to be either 360 or PS-styled. It's really nice and this is quite a few months before the PS4 was released, too! Very forward-thinking of Square.
It's the Dreamcast layout. Microsoft didn't invent it and either way, I don't think you can really patent a specific button layout like that especially when you consider that there's so much prior art that, if anyone were infringing on some patent that somehow existed, all they'd need to do is change the button names…
some kind of strange Devil May Cry rip off
How come I can't find that Devolver bundle anywhere? It's not linked to on the main site or mentioned in any blogs... At least not right now.
I'd kinda prefer that the game be designed without the "need" for a guide (as in practically-but-not-really-requiring one) in the first place. It already has a hint system but it feels a bit too much like accounting for level design deficiencies that the developers should have taken care of themselves instead of…
That's very true. In fact, I actually look down upon a game if it ever makes me want to use a guide. The entire point of a game is to be a self-contained experience (unless it's really competitive and has a notable metagame) and I rarely need anything more than a tip to get me in the right direction anyway. Demon's…
HP and MW have somewhat different handling, but I never found MW to be "laggy". What you're probably referencing is the framerate. On consoles, the game runs at 30FPS (I played it on PC which is unlocked by default) whereas BP was a solid 60. HP is also 30FPS (again, unlocked on PC) but it's more of a straight-up…
Joking aside with how Burnout Paradise is "teh best", I really like both Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted for different reasons. HP is a straight-up arcade action racer with really great visuals, and MW is like BP but mixed together with HP, if you understand. If you're just playing by yourself I'd recommend HP since it…
Very much this, too. Counter-Strike 1.6 is still going on strong and yet Valve is making a killing from GO and its community. You don't have to completely shut down an older game to make a new one sell, and even if you do, the community should still be able to play the old version if they choose. Otherwise, that money…
Never stopped Dead Island which got GOTY from practically nobody and yet had the nerve to sell a GOTY Edition.
Except Counter-Strike. That game needs WAY more imitators as far as business model is concerned. You pay for community-made maps during special "operations" that last some months (Operation Phoenix is going on right now) and you can get random skin drops that are also made by the community. Sell the ones you don't…
