Agreed. This and the upcoming Tesla Model X have a lot to deal with in order to make awd truly viable for such cars. Im excited to see the results.

I think this would genuinely concern Subaru. Not for any of the sarcastic reasons in the article, but because Subaru pretty much has a monopoly on fuel efficient cost effective AWD vehicles.

This will be really interesting. The Prius designers usually have a goal to make the powertrain as efficient as possible. Adding AWD usually means more weight and increases the power demand to turn the other wheels.

My biggest problem with the Prius isn't the FWD or the stereotype of those that drive one... if they'd stop making it look like a Prius and make it look like an actual car, I might be interested.

Gah I was so close to havin a 442 clone as a first car, but my dad was a meaniehead and said too much power. I'm still not happy about it.

First On Race Day..

BTW, how's that 28M strong and counting GM recall doing for ya?

Fix Or Repair Daily?

Yea true. Back when, I had a 1996 oldsmobile achieva with a 5 speed manual. Believe it or not, my achieva 2.4l twin cam could pull on his maxima! Just barely, but everytime it would be by about half a cars length.

No, this is a Cherokee. That is some bullshit Chrysler built.

I don't think she's that bad. Could maybe use a different haircut and I don't think the glasses do anything for her.

The lifted Dart with the hatch.

Funny, I saw a Cherokee Trailhawk taxi cab in Las Vegas; I guess it can do anything a Crown vic can do.

I am still skeptical . Every time the Dart gets hung up in this vid it cuts to a new scene. It's also noticeable that the dart does not take on some of the gnarlier sections.

But unlike JB1's parents, JB1 isn't smokin'.

Maximas have always been pretty fast though. It could hang with Civic Sis and Tiburons, anything else with a v6 would toast it.

BFD - this is the same route a guy filmed while driving a Crown Vic a while back.

This is a heavily modified, re-badged Dodge Dart, right?

If the roof can't be removed by simple bros, it's not a Jeep.

The Buick was lighter because it weaker. It had ridiculously thin mains. Not to mention it had a problematic oiling system that made a bunch of sharp turns and had a leaky external oil pump.
