Is the subaru design an interference engine?

You must be thinking of the serpentine belt, not the timing belt. I'm guessing you have the quad 4 engine?

The GM ecotecs had a problem with the chain tensioner/chain early on. I believe the actual fault was with the tensioner and not the chain. GM had a revised tensioner. Other than that, the ecotecs would go well past 100k without servicing the timing components.

You are right. Lincoln should have a back to their roots type campaign. Bring back the continental, mark v series, town car, and style them right. Fords design studio has shown they can get design right, why cant they get put those same designers on lincoln?

The MKT has Towncar badging on it? Is it a towncar or is towncar a trim level?

I think cougar is a better name than MKS. That could be a good idea. A modified cougar that has a mustang v6.

Does the lincoln version offer a v8? Is the powertrain the same as the flex?

It really does look like a hearse! Such a shame to see whats happening to a once great brand.

Why not come out with a mustang based vehicle that can compete with the M3? Lincoln needs excitement in the brand

How about a mustang based that can compete with the M3?

At what point does ford cut their losses and say, ok we're done with lincoln

Having not paid any attention to lincoln in the last 5 years or so, is this an actual production vehicle? MK something?

Wonder if this will be the same engine thats currently used in the vsport. A twin turbo v6 dropped into the buick regal platform would make for an awesome grand national

    Detroit edition

Welcome back to the performance market Honda!

How would this compare do the ford 2.7 ecoboost? In another post, I read the ecoboost runs on 31 pounds of boost. Running on that much boost, I gotta wonder how long will that motor be reliable?

Yea, its kinda cool. But heres the thing. Buy it, how much do you have to sink into it to make it 100% functional? Or at least to a point where you'd want to use it and feel comfortable using it?

How about a halo car based on the C7 platform?

Cadilliac needs a Halo car, this isnt looking or sounding like a halo car. How about something based on the corvette?

Weight to power ratio, I like it!
