Thats a great deal on the ST. What package did you have on it? 202a and ST3?

252 horse vs say the infiniti G37x with 330 horse. That 80hp difference is quite noticeable.

I dont do a lot of heavy hauling, but every so often it is very convenient to have a small truck. I wouldnt be opposed to a super cheap basic work truck that wont go off road but only carries the occasional "large" load. Could def. see myself owning something like that.

Has anyone heard if the direct injection engines have problem with carbon build up on the intake valves?

so $40k for a 4 cylinder low powered regal. Or, $40k for an ats/3 series/4matic. Its pretty clear why the regal isnt selling. There are better products that offer more features at the same price point.

$36k and no v6 option. The camry and accord both offer a v6 and are priced lower. Its not hard to see why the regal isnt selling well

If the regal GS had a v6 engine and manual transmission, I would buy one. 3.6l v6 with all wheel drive would be very nice. Or wait, how about the 2.8 turbo? wouldnt need any engineering, just put it in and go. GM, why isnt this an option in the US?

Spot on! They need something to create excitement in the brand. The current lineup is ok, nothing exciting. The 2014 redesigned regal has an excellent interior, great seats, and guages that I felt were on par with Audi.

I drove a regal GS back to back with an infiniti G37x. The G37 crushed it, hands down. The regal just didnt have the power. It felt heavy and slow in comparison. I've always been a GM fan and really tried my best to like the regal.

Give us a regal with a v6 engine! How about the European turbocharged v6? The regal GS is so close to being a great car, just needs some more power.

This says a lot right here. Some of the top and most popular cars are still slower than a vehicle designed 10 years ago.

Wonder if this will be the same platform as the dodge dart is on. That would be interesting, a unibody truck.

No, he is in northern IL/southern WI but is all over the neon forums. You probably have talked to him online at some point

My coworker has had 8 so far. Not kidding. Your name isnt Nick, is it?

I was recently in a cab. It was a lincoln towncar. Couldnt believe how incredibly smooth the ride was. Odometer had somewhere north 0f 240k miles on it. Car was built solid.

Isnt the dart platform a unibody? I dont think there is any frame underneath

Shop-teacher is dead on. Cutting a roof can lead to some serious structural issues.

Cutting it like this can lead to some serious structural issues. Hopefully this cage was properly braced and maintains the structural integrity.

This bar is a smashed knee in the making. Just needs to hit a rock, bump, hole, etc... and thats gonna hurt!

Sometimes, I think people like saying they drive a BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus, etc.....
