"I drive a BMW. Despite my arthritis, i'm still actively touring the country in my BMW. My BMW takes me places. Just because i'm old doesnt mean I cant have a BMW. My BMW takes me to the pharmacy to get my meds, BMW takes me to the doctors office, BMW brings me to my grand kids."

The GM ecotec motors seem to have some of the easiest oil change processes. The element oil filter thats located right at the top make for super fast oil changes.

Ouch!!! I'm guessing he bent the rim, blew the tire, probably damaged the rear axle. That burnout is going to cost him some serious money.

Wasnt carbon build up on the valves an issue on some of the earlier vw's?

This is someone video I came across on youtube, not mine

    Now playing

What i'm more concerned with on a direct injection engine is how do they keep the intake valves clean? How do you prevent excessive carbon build up on the intake valves?

    Thats a horrible crash.

435 horse for 32k! Thats a performance bargain. Works out to what, $74 per horsepower? Hard to find so much power at this price point.

I remember years ago going to the chicago auto show. Was at least 20 years ago, seeing the toyota booth. They had a car there that had doors which opened like the sliding doors at a supermarket. The car was a concept car showing how cars would be self driving and not need a driver. Not sure what the timeline was,

As it is, seems that the automakers can barely manage themselves!

If VW bought fiat. Would that make VW the largest mfg in the world?

Thats my biggest gripe on craftsman ratchets. The other thing i've noticed, the head of the ratchet seems to have a lot of play. More so than 30 year old kmart tools, which also have a lifetime warranty.

I agree, focus ST has better handling. However, I dont drive on a track.

"GM's corporate culture is changing. We know that because Barra says it is. "

You are 100% right. I need the practicality of a hatchback. Really hoping on the focus RS coming to the US. I have delayed replacing my 11 year old car waiting for the focus RS. If it does not come, I will probably end up with a WRX, ST, or a Speed3(if it gets updated).

I certainly hope so. Maybe it'll be a detuned version from the mustang

The challenge becomes, would a focus RS steal sales away from the mustang?

Is the focus RS confirmed for the US? I really hope so. As good as the focus ST is, 0-60 its no faster than a camry v6.

Any news if the focus will ever get the 2.3 turbo?

I had a 1/4" ratchet go bad. Brought it to sears, no questions asked got a brand new one. Great service
