So if my phone is dead on a return flight coming into the US, they confiscate my phone? Wouldnt it be easier for them to have some universal chargers for people to plug into and show that the phone turns on? If they take my phone, how does one get it back? There has got to be more to this. Maybe they take the

Good article. Let me just throw this out there. Sometimes, less is more.

Honestly, my Alero has been one of the most reliable cars i've ever owned. At 10 years and 100k the fuel pump died. Other than the fuel pump, brakes, tires and struts, everything has been 100%

Ok, ok. That makes sense. What engine do you have? I've got the 2.2 ecotec

I thought aleros were all built in lansing? Whats the first character in the vin number?

Thats odd, thought it was all aleros from 1999-2004. Where did you check? I havent inquired with GM or a dealer yet.

BMW and Cadilliac have an easy naming convention and a simple(er) line up. Good, better, best. ATS, CTS, XTS. BMW used to be 3, 5, 7.

If the starter went bad, did they have a pull starter?

    Apple integration?

    Is that an automatic?

I'm going to have to settle for reading online reviews of how awesome the SS is and dream of owning one. =)

They should start with their product names. MKS, MKT, MKC, MK?, MK*, MK- HUH?

Reminds me of the simpsons quote when wolfcastle gets a massive SUV and the simpsons ask him about gas mileage

Check out rockauto! the only time I go to autozone these days is if I cant wait for shipping. When I can wait, I find rock auto's prices to be the best

Thanks. The sonic isnt a bad car, just wished it had more power. Fuel economy is great, but its not the only thing.

$40k is out of my price range! Otherwise, an SS would be amazing. Not hard to see why the hot hatches are so popular. They are a tremendous value. Sorry GM, my next purchase probably wont be one of your cars.

I couldnt have said this better myself! Same situation for me. The camaro v6 is great, but where I live, it'd have to be a summer only car. As you said, its a great car, but its a different car for a different buyer.

Do you consider the focus ST, WRX, GTI to be crap box cars?

A corvette and or camaro arent exactly the best daily drivers when you live in the midwest, need reasonable gas mileage, need a useable backseat, a trunk, lower insurance costs, space, and whatever else I can think of.

I agree, this is just crazy. They are recalling cars that were built all the way back to 1997!
