I guess he exaggerated with "any other game news at the time," but his logic is pretty solid. It just doesn't apply to huge, established franchises, only new ones trying to break through.

Yes, Verizon. Keep giving me reasons to switch over to AT&T for the iPhone 5. Network quality will probably be equal between you two and I'm sure you'll nix unlimited data by 2012. With this, what reason will I have to be a faithful consumer? Go fuck yourselves.
@tex_ka95: It's coming from the observation that Apple has two versions of the iPhone, on a single carrier, and Android has not obliterated it despite dealing with every single OEM on every single carrier. With iPhone on Verizon I wouldn't be surprised if Apple matched Android, and if not it will be inevitable once…
@Yarrr: It might be more open in theory, but I've yet to see this demonstrated in practice. In fact, I see the Android App Store just as an echo of the Apple App Store as far as content goes, and this will be even more true with this. There will be so many more iPhones than Droid devices of similar power that anyone…
The article fails to mention how 3GS users could upgrade immediately to the 4G for $200. I don't doubt it will be an option on both networks when the new iPhone launches, and to be honest I'll be fine with paying the early termination fee next year if the iPhone 5 i that good.
@Protector one: Agreed. I'm using Golden Sun as an excuse to not sell it, but it really is a matter of days. I don't want to lose too much money due to sentimentalism.
Good so far. I hope they can add what Fable did too, with physical effects on your character like scars, aging, muscle, etc.
@cesariojpn: I wouldn't be able to finish watching that movie if someone paid me.
@Altima NEO: Yeah, I completely forgot about that. Although I don't plan on getting one, I'm still hoping Sony's engineers figured out a way to make it run PSP games natively. Otherwise I foresee shitstorms ahead, especially if this can't run PSP 2 games.
@Archaotic: True, I guess I'm hyping it a bit more than it deserves, but Epic Citadel (which allows you to explore) is almost equally impressive. They are little more than tech demos (especially Epic Citadel), but who knows what could happen if Kojima decided to work with comparable tech on a comparable phone?
It seems the comparison in the third video is with another phone, not the PSPGo.
@allstaraugustine: Peace Walker is a testament of what happens when an extremely talented dev works on a platform, but Infinity Blade is just another level. It's like comparing Snake Eater on the PS2 with Super Mario Galaxy 2. I'll pick up a PSP any day for gaming, but let's give credit where it's due.
@dark.alch3myst: Oh I can definitely see why one would be excited, I'm just expecting more from the PSP 2.
@Dreamwriter: Hmm you're probably right. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
@Altima NEO: The specs are on par with the iPhone 4, and that thing runs games the PSP couldn't dream of as far as graphics go. Of course, we could be looking at another PS3/PS2 situation but I doubt Sony would make that same mistake again.
@no computers in texas: These specs shit all over the PSP (It's something like 333 MHz and and 64 MB of RAM), but then this runs Android and XMB becomes just an app.
@savage: It does have the PS symbols.
Actually much sexier than I expected. But I'll wait for the PSP2, thanks.
I am not worried, and I don't think Apple should be either. It's all about picking the right userbase. As the DS and of course the iPhone show, just cracking it doesn't mean it's the end of the game. Users must also have a say in it, and if Apple found users to pay for music, fart apps and Angry Birds, the Mac App…
@Hello Mister Walrus: I mean...
