That was my first thought.
That was my first thought.
That is impressive. For me, even with a preapproved loan, no additional extras, etc, the process still takes some time to complete from start to finish. Out of curiosity, what was the car?
The Silverado looks better in person than in photos. The RST and High County look the best - I think the painted bumpers really make the front end design at least seem somewhat cohesive compared to the chrome bumpers.
If you have ever followed a local Facebook or Nextdoor group pages, that is pretty much 90% of the posts.
You need to expand your wine collection if you think that American wines are not in the same playing field; there are plenty of American wines that compete and surpass French wines.
I have a dogleg first in my 914, but had a ‘normal’ 5 speeds in my wrxs. I never found myself having issues starting out between the different cars since the 914 is vastly different from the Subaru’s I had, though I did find myself wishing I had a 6 speed in the wrx so that the final gear was down to the right. I…
For this, the title will just read “Not Actual Mileage.” And, disclosing that there is a discrepancy with the mileage does make it legal (49 U.S. Code § 32705 (a)(1)). Changing the odo and not noting that has been done is illegal. At least for CA, the mileage isn’t required to be noted for cars over 10 years old…
Glad you’re back. The Suburban (or Tahoe) would probably be a good pick. The interior plastics aren’t exactly the greatest, but the drivetrain is solid.
He seems to go pass through the bridge slowly, knowing it was going to be tight anyways (you can see his taillights flash before anything was hit). The sign flashing indicating that he is too tall should have been another clue it was going to work, and despite that, he proceeded.
They just seem to capture the market with “project cars that have great potential” that in reality may not even be worth buying as a parts car, and certainly not at the advertised prices. I see their sales pop up every once in awhile for Porsche 914 (I own one and am one a 914-based forum) and am always surprised by…
I generally feel like BHCC’s prices seem to be too much, especially for some cars that are past saving. I’ve seen rusted, depressed heaps for 5 figures.
I think you and I have the same boss...
It looks good though.
How do you like your GTI? MK7?
I am almost 30, and am actually looking at a GTI myself. I currently have a 4x4 TRDOR Tacoma, but had a modded WRX hatch before that (and a wrx sedan, too), and I miss the fun nature of a hot hatch. I also work in a professional career, but I do not think any actually cares what you drive as long as it is not…
I think the new 8 series convertible looks really good.
The prior owner made out like a bandit - he got paid 500 bucks instead of spending money to get the Jeep to the junkyard themselves.
There are alot of engines out there where the basic block design is pretty old. GM’s LS series and Nissan’s VQ motors date from the 90s, but that fact alone is meaningless. I personally think the K-series is a great motor (I had a RSX that racked up alot of miles and still didn’t miss a beat), so I can’t fault its age…
I think the 8 series actually does look pretty good, but the Lexus is truly a gorgeous coupe. I forget which review I saw, but the cliffnotes was that while they did indeed liked the 8 series, they would get the Lexus.
