I think you can pretty much go ahead and pencil the Royals into the World Series right now. I mean, I know the Astros have a pretty good streak going, and the Jays go back to ‘92, but the Royals have gone THIRTY YEARS without losing a single postseason game to an American League team.

LOLTNA

The sensitivity that these guys are showing

He’s like the veteran cop just days from retirement who dies at the beginning of the movie.

It’s somewhat less impressive when you watch the mlb.tv gamecast and realize he said the exact same thing before every single at-bat in the game.

I’m rooting for the Yankees:

Abandoning Kubiak’s schemes for Manning’s late in the game against the Chiefs is the only reason Denver is 2-0.

Bautista doing the “you can’t see me”?

Because “Chiefs” and “Super Bowl” go together like “Brando” and “diet”.

If Vince McMahon had the stroke and influence to cover up a murder in 1983, when he was basically still just a territorial wrestling promoter, it’s frightening to think what 2015 billionaire Vince is getting away with.

Most coaches and GMs just want to stay employed. In the big picture it might be smarter for a team to find out what they have in an unproven QB, but if the answer is nothing then the coach and GM start feeling their asses getting toasty.

It wasn’t, but an NXT show that weekend shouldn’t have been a big surprise to ROH. They announced their Brooklyn date weeks after WWE had already announced a slate of NXT shows around WrestleMania.

As for Ring of Honor, it’s kind of a shame that they’ll be so completely overshadowed by the NXT show on the same night. (There are widespread rumors that WWE wants to crush ROH and that they’re consciously sabotaging one of the biggest ROH shows of the year.)

(lengthy explanation of why the pitch to Escobar wasn’t intentional)

Because the pitch that hit Tulo was the 7th pitch of the at-bat, with 2 strikes on him and a runner already on base in the late innings of a 2 run game, and only a complete retard would think it was thrown at him intentionally?

The Royals had no issues with the A’s last season. It was earlier this season after one of KC’s players got hurt by an allegedly dirty slide.

But R.A. Dickey, who got the win on the day, couldn’t resist one last shot, pointing out that as far as the Jays are concerned, the Royals don’t run the AL anymore.

*Vince McMahon

The worrysome thing is that the talent is going from NXT, where the woman’s division has become one of the best things in wrestling, to WWE where they’ll be at the whims of Vince McMahon and Kevin Dunn. Guys who have spent decades treating women’s wrestling as an afterthought unless they had a bombshell like Sable or

I think HHH is the best advocate for women in wrestling there has ever been (helps to be married to a helluva a strong woman slated to take over the top company in an incredibly male-dominated industry).
