Haha “secret formula.” They would gain some more respect if they disclosed that. Perhaps it is a patented algorithm? Who knows, but I believe IMDB does the same thing.

Thank you Jason for shedding light on this; it is very interesting but I am not too excited. Numerical scores are still a conundrum and I am sure someone will devise an elegant solution. That said, I think reviews in the film & music industry have this problem as well!

Worth it for the MEAT. Now I probably am not the best 2D platformer player, but somehow I beat the game. Somehow. One of the best all time.
