Funny thing is that when that happened every developer was cramming MP into every title, so I thought Uncharted was gonna be a disappointment like everyone else... then yeah, I did pretty much the same as you.

That may be true to some games but GTA is one of the exceptions. Mayhem is better enjoyed with friends and sandbox games take the best out of that premise, just look at Just Cause, the concept of MP was so powerful that the PC version got modded just to add that component.
