Agreed an all points. We have to wait and see how the social component develops, while its true that 360 users might move to the next xbox because of their friends list (that's why almost nobody migrates from FB to Google+), the share element of the PS3 adds that "social flavor" that Sony needs. Will it work?. I dont

Oh c'mon Fable wasn't 10% of what was promised, but at the time it was a very cool game. It was a good product, the problem was that at the time Peter was a snake oil salesman with the thing.

And I have to say you're right, the game is amazing. It starts weird and at the beginning the pacing isn't as good as it was in the original Bioshock, but it sure has an amazing gameplay and it feels fresh.

I really hope so. I also enjoyed the original Fable without a dragon. I can live without some features, and that doesnt mean a game is bad, it may actually be GOTY material, but my point was that we must still be critical no matter who says what.

Well mass appeal will compensate for those unhappy costumers, and in every cycle there is always migration. However the current 360 install base will have both consoles head to head at almost the same date, so those killer features might make a difference (and so will the lack of them), especially if there is an

Yes but the problem is that criticism hits harder over brands or individuals because of how popular they are. Peter Molyneux was praised before B&W2 or Fable, but people was very critic on everything he presented because of the hype he created on his games. Unfortunately the community is not that critic with other

Thank for bringing up P. Molyneux. Thats a great example of how f*ked up is the gaming community, because we extend our "fanboysm" to developers, not only brands or platforms. I havent played Infinite yet (hope to start tonight), but so far my expectations are lower because of things like this.

"Why is Microsoft required to build a product that pleases everyone?"

Yes But not all used games are MS game studios property.

Yes but is stupid to make always online because it takes away potential costumers. Yes maybe the 19+ million people wont get the console after all, but what about the average consumer who is interested in having the console and has to choose between PS4 and the new xbox.

Rage was great IMO, the problem was that they created a 25 acre playground that was mostly empty... except from maybe a couple of plastic shovels and a little bucket here and there.

For me, reviews are unreliable unless you know what you want and the reviewer has similar taste.

Exactly my thoughts. All I care about is good simulation and depth, graphics are by far the least important thing here.

Isn't that what microtransactions and mobile/facebook games are all about?. But yes, it is sad.

They were very good at making "fun" sandbox games (a long time before SR3 got to the spotlight), unfortunately their games lacked polishing on areas that were very noticable, either AI, graphics or gameplay features, it was hard to find a Pandemic game that didnt have some annoying quirk. Well, in any case is a shame

Oh ID isnt going anywhere, and now that they're with Zenimax I hope that a couple writers from Bethesda or Arkane can give a little help to ID, so that they can make a game that not only looks and works great.

Oh Rage is such an amazing game, there are so many things right with it (most of them mechanical features), yet the game fell short on plot... It seems to be IDs curse, they create such amazing engines but fail to deliver a consistent story to make the game truly shine.

The game is beautiful, fun and after the patches it played great (except for the driving... the driving was ughhh! for me).

Well, Rage has a crossbow not a bow... so there is that. But yeah I agree that the drop-off factor and the existence of an actual arrow makes me like like the FC3 and Skyrim bows better... as of the physics in Skyrim, well I love how they fly over after an arrow hits them, is just hilarious.

No, PC grants you the Übermensch status, having everything else just makes you richer than most other gamers.
