Peeps keep saying that Vettes are a dime-a-dozen and they’re everywhere. But I see 10x more plastic cladded Challengers, Mustangs, and Camaros on the road in my travels. Used C7 and C8 Vette prices are ridiculous these days, as are most sports cars, but I still like ripping 2nd gear in a Z51 C6 to 75+ mph.

The number of people who shit on the Supra is unreal. It’s an utterly fantastic car, and an absolute BARGAIN of a performance package at its given price point, but the “It’S a BmW” crowd has ruined it even though the B58 is a monster of an engine and absolutely worthy of the Supra nameplate.

I’m going to keep up my never-ending crusade of defending the DeLorean DMC-12.

Objectively a great car? Well, no. But in context and by the standards of malaise era “American” (DMC actually built in Ireland, of course) cars, it is underappreciated.

I was 100% going to say the same thing. That’s just poor planning if you end up needing to stop there. If you are heading in to that general area and DON’T stop to fill up, in say Barstow, you are just dumb.

Supply and demand, baby. Same price structure on cruise ships and movie theaters. And in defense of the gas station, a little pre-planning with fueling up before driving into the desert and traveling with plenty of water is simple common sense. 

I understand that between adrenaline, being fucking pissed, being late for something, and fear of a medical bill a lot of people refuse medical care at the scene. But if get hit by a driver running a stop/red light I am sitting my ass on the curb until a paramedic checks me out and I see what the officer wrote down.
