So, to the ban everything guy, why are you at a car site again? Most of what you hate is perfectly harmless. You’re getting your blood pressure up over nothing. Oh no, flame decals, someone call the authorities!

Does Frank B. Rhodes, Jr. not know that the Chrysler brand has already been flushed down the toilet and is currently at a waste water processing facility? There’s only one 2024 Chrysler vehicle, ffs.
yes. someone please also tell me why we need wifi/lcd screens on washing machines and refrigerators? all this excess nonsense that is supposedly for convenience.
People dislike Teslas for a myriad of reasons, but everything is configurable to either shut up entirely or be configurable to be an unintrusive as you want.
The Aztek never deserved the hate it received...I owned one; it was reliable, and practical... The styling was just ahead of it’s time...it even had molded in tailgate seats...
Any minivan.
Peeps keep saying that Vettes are a dime-a-dozen and they’re everywhere. But I see 10x more plastic cladded Challengers, Mustangs, and Camaros on the road in my travels. Used C7 and C8 Vette prices are ridiculous these days, as are most sports cars, but I still like ripping 2nd gear in a Z51 C6 to 75+ mph.
This will be a super unpopular opinion here but I guess thats sort of the point.
I think the 3G eclipse doesn’t desrve the hate the automotive community gives it.
Yes it wasn’t as sporty as the 2g, but if you judge the car on the merits of what it was and not what came before, it was actually a very competent Grand…
I’m going to keep up my never-ending crusade of defending the DeLorean DMC-12.
Objectively a great car? Well, no. But in context and by the standards of malaise era “American” (DMC actually built in Ireland, of course) cars, it is underappreciated.
81 Corvette 0-60: 8.1s (fastest US production car that year)
81 Pontiac…
Any mass market car that’s affordable and serves its intended purpose, no matter how boring or “uncool” it is.
I’m probably going to get a lot that won’t agree with me, but I’m just going to throw it out there.
The Brave browser is quite good at blocking those ads without destroying the site’s navigation.
with a button response on the level of a 20 year old touch screen.
image a world where we can navigate a slide show without each image being pushed down by a banner ad with every click
I was 100% going to say the same thing. That’s just poor planning if you end up needing to stop there. If you are heading in to that general area and DON’T stop to fill up, in say Barstow, you are just dumb.
Supply and demand, baby. Same price structure on cruise ships and movie theaters. And in defense of the gas station, a little pre-planning with fueling up before driving into the desert and traveling with plenty of water is simple common sense.
I understand that between adrenaline, being fucking pissed, being late for something, and fear of a medical bill a lot of people refuse medical care at the scene. But if get hit by a driver running a stop/red light I am sitting my ass on the curb until a paramedic checks me out and I see what the officer wrote down.
