My gripes about ATL:
The absolute shit show that is customer service in any restaurant/bar in the airport. I get that you’re not going to get michelin quality service in any airport, but ATL’s is by far the worst out of any airport I’ve ever flown through.

I like the Sky Lounge (2nd floor of concourse F I think) that has outdoor seating overlooking a runway and radio tower. That one usually seems to be a little less crowded, maybe due to being slightly more hidden. My wife and I have a little game, where if we get stuck with an exceptionally long delay or layover, we

Jesus, tailgating is the oldest trick in the book to sneak into a place you don’t belong. The fact that such a method can work in airports is baffling!

I fly through ATL somewhat often and I can’t fathom why in the hell someone wouldn’t use the plane train. That’s the definition of insanity. ATL is fine and also has some of the better Delta Sky Lounges.

Well, it’s not that complex in reality. Its real model name is Wildwood Grand Lodge 42 Veranda. Wildwood and Salem are actually two different product lines, not the name of a single trailer. Weirdly, Forest River is really bad at articulating that, so I see how Logan copied it.

You could make a killing in Orange Beach, Florida. People rent hundreds-of-dollars-an-hour boats for the entire day just to park them in the sand

I see a party boat. Dancefloor, stage, dj tower, drop the front ramp to release the Brads and Amandas on the beach…the party army is here!

I want it.

This. There's too much variation in technology. It's up to the driver to know the limitations of their vehicle and they are ultimately responsible if they get themselves into a situation that requires costly assistance. It should just be "drive at your own risk - stuck vehicles will be assessed the costs of retrieval."

I drive on these roads often. I have a jeep wrangler with just limited slip diffs. NO lockers. Up until recently most 4wds did not come with locking diffs from the factory. In my opinion and experience on these roads it is really about clearance. 4wd tend to be higher off the ground and able to clear rocks and ruts

I can’t even remotely afford the only EV that interests me right now, the Ioniq 5 N. Plus, I live in an apartment with no charging infrastructure and nowhere to put one. Nevermind the fact that I just prefer the sounds and smells of internal combustion.

Price.

This is pedantic bullshit. A 4wd vehicle is not inherently better or more capable than an AWD vehicle. One could argue that modern 4wd cars when in 4wd mode are nominally awd vehicles while a Subaru with a full time 4 wheel drive system is in fact an actual 4wd vehicle. Just because your 4WD can have lockers,

I think he means specifically a locking center coupling. Most 4wd vehicles DO NOT have locking differentials as part time 4wd vehicles don’t have a center differential, but they do have a locking center coupling. The biggest problem Subaru has is not traction, but gearing. The engines don’t have the torque for their

Fun fact about this trail. Its weak sauce up until the last mile and a half. When I did it, the rangers said most people drive to this point, park and walk and we say people doing that. The last mile and a half was pretty fun.

What does this have to do with the automotive industry?

I’m was expecting this slideshow to be 50 slides.

KITT on Night Rider, wow that car was junk

Smoky and the Bandit Trans Am. That movie really polished that turd.

The way I see it, if you’re gonna build a time machine into a car, why not do it with some style?
