Nissan braintrust: “We have listened to enthusiasts, and will bring back exciting, high quality products!”
As much as I want this, it wouldn’t be the profit cow they need. Crossovers, Trucks, SUVs, then fun cars if they want to remain solvent.
Focus should be put on the Pathfinder first. It’s super old and ugly, but that’s the most profitable category. There’s value attached to that name, and it can double as a good base for a true luxury offering for Infiniti if done right.
I had a Infiniti QX50 rental over the Thanksgiving holiday. I got to say I was disappointed in the car. There is no way they will be a legit upmarket competitor if that is the best they can do.
It’s funny that they’ve stuck to the same aesthetic more or less through the whole series. It seemed incredibly futuristic IN the 70s, but now seems almost retro. Just the idea that the Mandalorian can have his spaceship stripped for parts, get them back, field reinstall them all, and then take off is completely…
Because after using essentially the same tech for several millenia, the designers and engineers long ago learned touchscreens suck.
Yes but isn’t it technically history?
Afree seeing the Jawas in the Mandalorian, I'm now convinced that they are just Minions in brown robes.
I love that the Star Wars galaxy has kept the ‘70s tech aesthetic alive. It’s all buttons, cables, levers and angles.
I eagerly await George Lucas retconning the reason the Millennium Falcon’s hyperdrive kept failing in The Empire Strikes Back from “blaster fire from pursuing Star Destroyer” to “circa 2003 VW 1.8T ignition coils”.
If we properly educated American drivers about lane etiquette and, well, driving, there’s no reason our interstate highways couldn’t be a fast as the German Autobahn. They’re designed for aircraft landings and troop transport, after all.
How much you wanna bet he was drunk? Fled the scene, posted the video, then came back when he was sobered up.
It frustrates me that idiots like these can somehow afford nice cars, but all I can afford is a super used minivan - despite having a Bachelor’s and two Master’s degrees.
I guess it’s my fault for being a teacher and having multiple kids, though.
Completely agree. So glad someone else posted it!
This was my answer as soon as I read the headline. I would've owned this car...new.
