Your argument is not relevant until cars are fully self-driving. As of right now, we have to drive the car and having more ads that make people think they can get away with distracted driving is a bad thing.

Scare is too strong a word. I am disheartened that this and subsequent generations won’t know how to actually drive. Focus on the act of driving not all the assists and aids that come with most newer models. Common sense and proper attention trump a computer in the real world.
