No, I don’t think a mid-engine Corvette will attract a younger crowd. If I’m going to drop $100k on a toy I’m going to get a boat not a car. Besides why ruin ~60 years of brand imagine when you can have a Corvette AND mid-engine super car with a different name? Why not both???

The Corvette appeals plenty to younger people, its just that most younger people either can’t afford a 50k sports car or if they can have kiddos that need to be shuffled around as well. Trust me, us dudes in our mid 30s would love a new vette, but that daycare isn’t going to pay for itself! #dadlife

Fuck a mid engined corvette.

Ah yes, all those all those midengine exotic buying 20 somethings. Such a massive market cannot be ignored.

This is such a “Marcus” car, too. That’s the best way of putting it.

“You can’t just shorten the drive shaft and move the engine back and use what they already have.”

Remember how bad the Fiero was when it came out? It's a lot harder to design a car than GM expected and they ate their hat for it. You can't just slap an engine in the trunk and expect to compete with companies that have been working at it for decades.

There are still a lot of R&D costs that will go into adapting an already existing chassis, plus you have to figure out the drivetrain. You can’t just shorten the drive shaft and move the engine back and use what they already have. They would also want it to compete with the likes of the Ford GT, so more technology and

Cadillac needs a halo car, so that’s where we should go mid engined. But that would make too much sense for GM

The upside to the Corvette is that it brings world class sports car performance for an attainable price. If putting the engine behind the driver causes the price to go up to Porsche 911 territory, I do not think it will be successful.

That said, I'm sure there's room for both a standard front engine Corvette and a mid

Exactly! I’m a 260 lbs. weight lifter and I’ve yet to crush my daughter’s bones when I give her a hug. Same kind of muscle control you see with pro wrestling - If a guy like The Big Show were to actually punch someone in the jaw as hard as they can - doesn’t matter who they are - the recipient would crumble like a wet

Stick: That is his voice in the trailer right? So almost guaranteed then.

Unless you need visible abs for professional or competition reasons, my god, what a waste of time and energy when you could be out enjoying life. If you honestly enjoy the extensive time in the gym and deprivation it takes to maintain those abs then keep doing you but a flat stomach and good health are rewards enough.

Okay, some of these I see their point, but...
