What I don’t understand is why there are so many safety requirements for cars while motorcycles are still allowed to be sold and ridden on the streets. If a guy can choose to ride a motorcycle wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and flip-flops why can’t I choose to buy a car without airbags?

Especially because (*and I am one) motorcyclists are allowed to enjoy two wheels and a couple hundred horsepower on a 400 pound missile.

As if sitting in a tub with some rollbars and probably five times the contact patch is going to be less safe.

Causing an accident is a risk, delaying emergency vehicles is a virtual certainty. Both are consequences of this kind of thing, and he should be punished for that.

You aren't going to get C7 levels of performance out of a design from a couple years ago. Not to mention it's a fully optioned out $30k car. You are absolutely absurd to think that. That's like saying an Avalon should compete against the C7 because it can cost around $50k optioned out.
