I’m surprised, I actually really like the look of it... except the rear. There is just too much going on in the back and none of it is very appealing. The taillights particularly are pretty bad. It just looks like something from an over-the-top turner body kit company instead of an established big boy manufacturer.

That’s the truth right there

Then there are the practical concerns, such as where to put the golf clubs on the redesigned car.

I’m confident the roar of its big block through those side pipe could be heard in space.

Screw you man. I love the C3 and would look amazing driving one with the T-tops open and my mullet flapping in the wind.

He’s a dictator, that’s all you need to know

Well, I can tell you one thing for use - the new Corvette wont look as good as this.

Name possibilities:

Stupid vaping tuners, ruining it for everyone.

The corvette is a Halo car, not a SUV, CUV or Minivan. Halo cars are all about advancing a narrative or proving something.

I can see it now. You go to get in your new C8 vette and realize it has the entire out of a Cruze.

I’d say, over $100k and its a flop after the initial buyer novelty wares off; if it’s around $70k it could be a hit and huge win for GM. Something they need since the Camaro is now falling behind both the Mustang and Challenger in sales.

My dream in life is to build a street legal, single seat, front engine, open wheel car like these old F1 cars. One day... until then I will just have enjoy these old videos, thanks for keeping the flame lit.

A normal rack on a car would meet all of the requirements you listed better than spending much much more money on a truck - exception being towing a camper if that’s what you mean by camping. But I doubt someone living in cities/apartments would have a camper.

You pretty much described most of the Truck and even SUV buyers, they don’t need those vehicles, except on rare occasions, and really just buy them on looks/image/perception. Putting something large in the bed of a truck once a year doesn’t mean you need a truck, people don’t seem to get that.

I’m not a truck person, especially the massive vehicles they are today, but I would buy the hell out of this thing if it was a Hyundai Brat. I actually really like the styling and if they offered it with a performance option, then I’m all in.

150 miles is good enough for my commute of 90 miles round trip. The big problem is, how much milage do you lose when you’re driving, say 80 mph, which around here is pretty much the flow of traffic. Also, with only 150 mile range, you wouldn’t be able to take it on any road trips without some serious planning ahead

Built in nav is a great one. I got excited that my new-to-me car had, but it’s laughable outdated and my phone GPS actually gives me traffic and alternate routes. I looked into updating it, and it was like $150 bucks to have the manufacturer send me a thumb drive with an update on it - completely not worth it.

I love the last gen Lancer - it’s actually the only Lancer I like - but no way in hell am I paying “New Car” money for a 3-4 year old car, I don’t care how well it’s maintained. Sure, there are some exceptions to this, but the Lancer ain’t one of them.

Mazda needs to go back to offering performance version of what they have, then they can start worrying about more premium brands.
