Yeah, I remember watching Primal Fear and thinking “man, this guy’s going to take over Hollywood.” and he kinda did, for a spell there. People vs. Larry Flynt, American History X, Rounders, and Fight Club are all stone cold classics in my book.

This summer, I went to a game where Engel made one of his ridiculous home-run robs, and it happened right in front of me. I enlarged the photo, framed it, and hung it on my wall, because the catch was amazing and I also looked OK in the photo.

I’m with you, man. You do have to wonder if it is worth all the effort, because that kind of technical wizardry flies over most viewers’ heads. As I watched the episode, I didn’t even think for one second “ooh, this is a single take shot. How interesting!”
