I think the first soundtrack I ever actually got was for The Crow. That’s a slice of heaven for me still, but if 6 year old me could have gotten his hands on a copy of the Neverending Story soundtrack I’m sure I would have been just pleased as punch.

Am I wrong that Theo didn’t have her “gift” until the childhood scene of her holding a ghost’s hand that she thought 0as her sisters? (The scene in bed, she asks “Whose hand was I holding?”) So, in that sense, the house DID in fact give her the gift?

I think his point was more about toxic masculinity and conjecture about the guy’s steroid usage (“roid rage” is such a popular concept, it’s no surprise that SOMEONE would say its what caused the guy to mail pipe bombs). Not really making fun of a physical presentation, more about what the presentation might reveal…
