See, I take issue with this behavior. If your vehicle can’t go the speed limit, you probably should just stay out of the left lane. The exception to that being if you can go considerably faster than the vehicle you’re passing.

There are several programs out there that can take multiple images of object and produce a point cloud with the same accuracy as LIDAR. I don’t see what the problem is. I’ve be advocating that you need to test drive before marriage for my entire adult life. I recommend a 5 year minimum test drive, at least 4x a week.

Can’t be any worst than the average driver now. They can have signs for 5 miles in advance that a lane is ending, and there will always be some idiot on their phone that acts surprised when they suddenly need to merge. We don’t pay attention to shit! At least AI is trying.
