Clinton has long opposed Citizens United - although I doubt her or Sanders will be able to take meaningful action.
I think this would be akin to calling Sanders a gun nut for his voting record on gun control - a little hyperbolic, although with some truth to it (which was the point I was trying to get across in the last post)
She is certainly not an isolationist, but I think it is a little hyperbolic to call her a hawk. That being said, her refusal to admit that a vote for the Iraq war was the wrong vote was a major problem for me in 2008 (her excuse felt like, “everybody else was doing it too, derp derp 9/11”). Personally, I am in favor…
I don’t think we’re really going to get much more in terms of policy platform than what is currently available on the campaign websites - maybe some refinement, but not much. Outside of openly using the word socialist, it is tough for me to see what issues Sanders will push Hillary to the left on.
I have a hard time finding the actual policy positions that set Sanders apart from Clinton in a meaningful way. I also voted for Obama, but in retrospect I think we would have been better off with Hillary. The first term of Obama’s Presidency was a huge lost opportunity for progressive legislation.
Because men in fraternities are three times more likely to commit rape than college enrolled men who are not. Sorority girls are also much more likely to be victims of sexual assault. The Bureau of Justice Statistics Survey doesn’t tell the whole story
Well, it would seem that rape happens more frequently in some environments than others. One thing these environments seem to have in common is objectifying women and looking the other way or excusing rape. A cultural environment that encourages rape - a rape culture.
I would have hated to have to attend this kind of class, but it is truly mind boggling that rape culture and consent aren’t covered at all really in sex ed and college orientation (at least in my experience)
It comes from a medieval stereotype that jewish people are servants of/in league with Satan against Christianity. Other medieval stereotypes included stealing babies in the night, drinking human blood, poisoning wells, shapeshifting and cloven feet
Stay weird Miley
The issue is that the ‘suppliers’ of models are accused of colluding to fix prices - if the modelling agencies in question control a majority of the available models and actively work with one another to form a cartel and set prices, then it is illegal
You might need to turn up the difficulty if you are talking about Civ 5 - the AI can be pretty aggressive on emperor or higher, and I’ve had nuke wars w/ AI in domination games.
Minor correction: Doesn’t kick off until August 10th (from the subreddit)

Mike, I usually really like your posts and streams, but the transphobic one here....If you wouldn’t highlight a racist or homophobic entry, please think it over before posting transphobic stuff.
Yeah, this is the equivalent of a fag or nigger “joke” - but it is more culturally acceptable for some reason bc she is trans. Was dismayed to see this highlighted...makes me sad
Batman games have come a long way since AppleII GS
I would like to see young Ron Reagan deal with these reds
Selling sex with while vaguely paying lip service to female empowerment allows Beyonce to have it both ways in the public eye.
