You don’t need an expensive memory foam mattress to sleep well and be cool. I am very heat sensitive and get hot when others are cold. I do have an inexpensive Target mattress pad over a ‘firm’ $400 foam mattress. I don’t sink into the mattress. I sleep like a baby.
