If you’d follow the link and read the article, you’d see that when they married they weren’t planning on having kids. The desire for kids came as a surprise to both of them. In that context it makes perfect sense that she was surprised.

Non hoop earring requires backs and are two pieces - that’s what got her into the situation: pushing the back on so super tightly that it got stuck in the hole. Hoop earrings have a self-close and are all in one piece and thus won’t disappear into the earring hole.

As a periodic insomniac I find what works best is not to fight it. If I can’t sleep, I’ll get up and do something. Clean the kitchen. Throw in a load of laundry. Whatever. Then go back to bed an hour later and usually then I conk out. If you feel tired during the day, give in and take a nap. Not for more than an hour…

THIS. EXACTLY THIS. I’ll take knees knobbing into my back over a chiropractor visit any day. We are all cattle on the airlines of America.
