“Can’t ANYONE make a new movie without it being a sequel?”
Honda stated that an increase in efficiency of 3.8% was seen on the Honda e... that's a lot more than people assume.
I guess I can’t even afford a car without stalks until I can buy more stonks.
Stocks for lights and wipers.
If you compared the mirror and camera in real time you’d see that the camera is much wider.
The camera is wider, no need to move so see more, you see everything.
Changing the battery in a key fob is simple and cheap.
I feel this way but with being short. I get in anything larger than a hatchback and feel like I'm two kids in a trench coat pretending to be an adult. You should lend me a few inches of your height and we can both fit in cars easily.
Heated seats. Initially I specified these for my cars due to the cold Michigan winters, and now as I have gotten older I also find them useful for calming my age-related back pains no matter what the weather.
People said the same thing about drive-by-wire and computer controlled brakes. Now they are just the way things are done. Sorry if I stepped on your lawn.
“Rust. I need a car that treats oxidation like I treated internet pr0n when when I was 15. I need it all the time, and there is never enough. Mirrors are 2-7% of drag. A camera would be a lot less. Although I feel the pods on this car are a bit large.
Depends on your vehicle. Compare this truck with the conventional set up.
Mirrors add 2-7% drag to a vehicle. That may not be a ton, but automakers have already implemented the low hanging fruit to improve fuel economy. So now they are searching for every percent they can.
How fast do you have to be going before the reduced drag outweighs the amount of energy used to power two extra screens and some cameras?
Modern cars have awful blind spots to meet safety standards and style expectations. Digital mirrors offer potentially better visibility, and other incremental improvements like not needing adjustment to a certain angle to match every driver.
Mirrors are a large source of drag. Cameras will increase efficiency.
