“I’ve yet to hear a V6 that sounds good.”

“For most of the last two decades the recovered wreckage of TWA Flight 800 has been sitting in a hangar at NTSB’s Training Center in Ashburn, Virginia, used as a training resource. On Monday the NTSB said that it would dismantle and destroy the wreckage as part of a broader move from the site.”

I hated almost all Domestics from this era but I always had a soft spot for the Vue Redline. The J35 is pretty much the only thing that makes this vehicle desirable and there are plenty of Hondas with the J Series V6 well over 300,000 miles and still going. I doubt the rest of the GM mediocrity will make it that far,

“Its the sort of thing that keeps me up at night and scared of J-engines.”

“Now the real news - THIS had a Honda V6, I’m dumbfounded, did everyone else know this?”

“ but supposedly the drivetrain and much of the suspension are basically identical to the Acura MDX, or whatever they called the MDX at the time.”

“Also it’s a v6 so it’ll never sound good”

Yelchin died because FCA in all of their wisdom was one of the only manufacturers that didn’t automatically put the vehicle in park/set the parking brake when the door was opened if the vehicle was in drive.

Crutchfield is awesome.

“Similarly, because I live in a small house on a small suburban lot, I can’t leave a car in my driveway and have it be locked, because the key is pretty much always in range.”

“Boss was the like Wal Mart brand people bought who couldn’t afford a proper Pioneer, Alpine, Sony, or Kenwood head unit.”

Sorry I missed the sarcasm.

“- Use my existing steering wheel controls. Muscle memory there.

They were crap in the 90's and still are crap now.

For $400 you can buy a HU from a respected manufacturer with actual after sale support, better reliability and better quality.

Just a huge heads up which many people are aware of, JD Power is shit.

It comes down to infotainment woes and not actually “reliability” issues that we would consider.

Lexus’s system and Toyota’s Entune are easily the worst on the market.  I have no idea how they don’t see this and haven’t fixed the problem already.

Why would you love to see that? I don’t get that.

“And Fuzion Tires is a sub-brand owned by Bridgestone.”
