“1st Gear: Call me when Nissan decides to make something daring or interesting again. I think they’re going to be locked into the “printing money with boring SUV’s” plan for the foreseeable future, or at least until they’re back on solid ground again.”

Exactly.

“Eh, plenty of people see the 300 as a premium vehicle.”

“I’m sure they could resurrect Chrysler as a actual luxury brand, if they only wanted to. “

I’m sorry, are you implying that Chryslers are reliable, and have been from the 80's through current?

“But aren’t the Italian’s the masters of electrics?”

“The brand is so antiquated at this point, pairing it with EV technology would be like buying a Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Corporation Smartphone.”

The Envision is/was embarrassing. The first generation was barely more luxurious than a CR-V Touring but cost $10k more.

I don’t think anyone would take Chrysler seriously being a full on luxury brand. The only people who knew Chrysler as luxury are dying off.

That engine looks suspiciously clean compared to the rest of the vehicle. The seller was likely doing crack himself while driving his misfiring TC from LA to LV.

Awesome review, Rory.

I don’t really see the problem here. Amazon is huge and the tie-up here will bring more eyes to the new Outlander which is exactly what Mitsu is trying to accomplish.

Nope.

Hopefully he got a new Rogue, those are actually really good.

I see them quite often around here. They look pretty good, are affordable, crammed with technology and are getting pretty good reviews. I don’t see what there is to hate. Also, Nissan’s newer CVTs have proven to be FARRR more reliable than their older units.

Didn’t bother to replace a simple part? Ratted out piece of shit with a questionable history?

Nissan is ditching the CVT in the next generation Pathfinder/QX60, they have been killing it recently.

MB-Tex like others have said.  It’s indestructible and far better than most manufacturers real leather.

I just died, I’m totally stealing this.
