Each head restraint is probably $40 at minimum. What they are spraying will treat all of them for less than $3.

Toyota’s SofTex is trash.  I will never understand (other than cost) why they took real leather out of almost all of their vehicles and replaced it with that crap.  It isn’t durable and it sure as hell doesn’t feel real.

plenty of cars (expensive ones, too) have leather seating surfaces

Your mom’s GLK had MB-Tex which is a material straight from the Gods that will outlast us all.  Seriously, it requires no maintenance and it is one of the most durable seat coverings of all time.  It is nicer than most “real” leather.

That leather has never been conditioned ever and the Federal tires are crap. Almost any 90's GM is gross and this interior represents some of GM’s worst.

I think you’re going to want to stand out from the crowd while there. Some of the least common cars are:

This is in absolutely fantastic condition. Unmodified, looks to be garage kept as the paint looks great, no curb rash and the barrels of the wheels look clean with matching high quality tires. I’d get a legit PPI, try and find maintenance history.  Swap out every single fluid in this vehicle and and ball on a budget.

“One other telling insight is the new tires being nicer Continentals which tells you the owner wasn’t just about saying “new rubber” and going the cheapest route.”

Lawn and Order 2020.

Yes, from 15 years ago.

This is true, but not to the extent that Mazdas were rusting from the mid 2000's.  Those things were rustbuckets in salt states.

“Mazda is cool, but not worth paying Honda/Toyota prices for. And they rust bigly.”

There should be if there isn’t.

You get it, 100%.

I see the Nissan hating crowd has arrived to shit on anything made by Nissan without even understanding what vehicle they’re talking about.

No, no it isn’t.

I’m not clicking through a slideshow.  Stop this BS.

I spent a ton of time in Germany as a kid. With all of the cool shit that was available there that we didn’t get I really dug these vehicles. Other than the Coupe, I can’t really explain the rest.  A family member did live very close to a Fiat dealership though.
