mythbusters did it!

Abuse of power much? De-star them all Joel! Once your done, you can take your "fuck you" back and answer the legitimate question. You may have taken it as an insult, but in that case it should be easy to answer why the last article had such a gloomy outlook, and yours is all "Sunshine and lollipops"

@Ozzie, The Last Hairbender: I used to say that about my first desktop with 2MB of hard drive space.... who would ever use 2 megs of storage? preposterous.

classic chicken/egg argument. More adopters = more R&D on cheaper media.

@tomsomething: I dont pretend to know anything about publishing, but I would assume legally licensed braille/audiobook development comes from the publisher's (and therefore handed down to the author's) pockets. If you arent paying for the development of that media, you shouldnt be compensated for it. Cant have your

@globeadue: Im not sure whats going on with your pc, but even with instant if I type in what im looking for and hit enter, it functions just like a normal google search does.

my fingers usually type faster then my eyes read, so I usually end up typing out the whole word or phrase I am looking up before my brain even registers that the results have been populated. Other then that it doesn't bother me that its there.

That works good for a wall drill. For ceiling drilling (I just put up a set of ceiling mounted speakers in my living room) you can take a little dixie cup, drill through the bottom, and just leave the cup on the end of the drill while youre drilling into the ceiling.

ive really been looking for a 1-1.5 TB internal drive (even a good external would do), but every time I see one on the deals page, I look it up on newegg and the reviews are horrible. :(

@aec007: It gets annoying reaching behind my Wii and plugging in my external usb drive every time I want to play, and when I am finished, reaching back in and unplugging it. A switch is much more convenient. Since the Wii never "turns off" it just goes to sleep, there is always power running to my hard drive, so it

@Curves: that sounds an awful lot like a Yoda quote. All hail Yoda!

My issue is that they are charging an exorbitant amount for tethering. Why do they charge for tethering? because they assume people will use more data. Fair enough, but they are also tiering the data plans. One or the other At&T. Charge for tethering OR Charge for data. Not both.

What a smart way to solve your antenna problem!

as long as at&t keeps charging for tethering, ill stay jailbroken.

@J2M3: Ya know.... not that im condoning it, but you could bring it back to bestbuy and say it wouldnt turn on, get a replacement, and boom 2 ipads for the price of 1 + $50. They look real enough to fool the geek squad.

im all for new technology, but doesnt this just seem kinda superfluous? I mean... its a phone, not a hdtv. I think the 3GS screen looks just fine, 4x as many pixels isnt going to be groundbreaking.

I dont see the problem... isnt enGAGment correct?
