Enh, just do what Porsche did with the 959 to pass the German drive-by test - relabel 1st gear as a “G-for-gelande” creeper-gear, so you can run the test one gear higher.

Only accelerating. Like I said: for posers, not for drivers.

i think 80% of aftermarket exhaust’ed 350/370Zs sound like shit. this nismo prototype sounds kinda nice

I’m in the minority I know, but I do not consider loudness to necessarily be a desirable thing. I realize that louder typically equates to “freer flowing” which equates to more power, but if I could have more power without the noise in an ICE, I’d take it 10 times over 10.

For a company making this car on a budget, I wonder why they don’t just use the quieter exhaust on the auto also.

I was REALLY excited for this car. Then it turned out to be a 370 with a body kit...
Looking at it more and more you can see the still cramped interior for a larger roadster (smaller than a miata) and laughable storage options abound carried over from the 350/370. Hope the trunk is a bit more livable (say a large

Real answer is:

My dad’s first new car was a 47 Ford. He installed a pair of things like this on it the week he bought it. Pull up on the cables and he bypassed the exhaust system.

California really need to get their heads out of their ass. What a dumb test.

So, it´s the “Poser package”: auto+noise.

We attended the 2015 Montreal GP, with the 3 day package for tickets in 3 different locations, including the Start/Finish line on race day. I think they were about $480 US at the time, which I felt was very reasonable for a special event. Also reasonable? The cost of everything everywhere we went in Montreal. Even at

a GA ticket for just race day is $500USD ($641 CAD) at Miami. Forget grand stand tickets at the start line for three days.

This is just the most American thing to me.

This is just about the silliest, tackiest, dumbest thing I’ve ever seen.

This right here! The charm of the track and the location would be totally destroyed if F1 went there thanks to the mandatory runoff, track facilities, and hotels that are required to host an F1 race

F1 stopped caring about pleb specators a long time ago, guess why they stopped racing at all the classic tracks.

We all want you to mock the marina mercilessly. That’s a given.

Look. I LOVE Watkins Glen. I attend the IMSA race there frequently. It’s an amazing place. But it is next to a small village. There are a grand total of like 7 motels within 30 miles of the place. There is no freaking way you can put a modern F1 circus at Watkins Glen. Forget the track safety issues, the

Go to COTA. Prices are reasonable(ish), and everything else around is cheaper too. I can think of several other Grands Prix that I would want to go to for what it would likely cost to do a weekend in Miami.

I didn’t know discussing motorsports and things that go on during a motorsports event weekend wasn’t allowed. I’m not pleased with what I’ve seen lately out of Jalopnik but them going to the Miami GP for full weekend coverage is right up their alley.
