I entered one of these into a destruction derby about 10 years back. A broken tie rod finally caused it to come to a stop. Came in second place against 80's battle wagons. The passenger door was basically touching the driver’s seat after a hit but it didn’t stop it. Great way to waste $300, win $250 and then blow it…
Are you going out for the week?
Does Jason Statham narrate it? Because I read:
Adding lightness.
That’s the wife’s dream car too. She has to live with it’s spiritual ancestor now, a wk with a two inch lift and 32's which has/had as many grmelins as that will.
Your chart is inconsistent although it looks nice. You have gcw being the weight of the car with some stuff in it and GCWR being the maximum rated weight. “the Wrangler’s six-speed manual are also relics from the Daimler era, and those are excellent transmissions.”
David,
Yup. AX15 bit the dust.
Sorry. It’s a nv3550. They are the 5 speeds out if a TJ. Almost the same as the 5 speed out of Dakotas but with a removable bellhousing.
Completly agree. I’d like to point out that the YJ has leaf springs and was the last one designed by AMC.
I almost let mine get away. 94 4.0/nv3500 tan sahara on no lift with 35's. Currently awaiting a influx of funds.
Want one so bad. Wife says I need to get rid of some of the other non running g projects ffirst. As always, let me know if you want someone to stand around and pretend to work.
